According to a report from Bold Ride, the next-generation Nissan GT-R could spawn a high-performance Infiniti sedan.
Infiniti’s Q50 Eau Rouge concept used the 560-horsepower heart of a Nissan GT-R to launch itself to 60 mph in just 4.0 seconds. A source close to Nissan said the company’s research “has shown that there is a move in high performance car manufacturing toward four-door sedans.”
The sedan would compete with vehicles like the BMW M5 and Porsche Panamera Turbo S. There are still no firm details on powertrain, but it’s safe to assume that there will be a twin-turbo V6 underneath making more than 500 horsepower.
