In a field of 26 competitors ranging from the spry Mazda MX-5 to the awkwardly styled Toyota Mirai, the Chevrolet Camaro took home Motor Trend‘s Car of the Year award.
The Camaro garnered praise for its sublime handling, strong engine lineup and strong value for money. We recently drove the 2016 Camaro from New Orleans, Louisiana, to Dallas, Texas, and came away similarly impressed.
The handsome Volvo XC90 took home the SUV of the Year award and the Chevy Colorado was awarded the Truck of the Year. Last year’s Car of the Year was the Cadillac CTS. GM is really on a roll, it seems.
