Aston Martin will take the wraps off a new special edition Vantage models at the Geneva Motor Show next month.
Known as the V8 Vantage N430, it will be available as a coupe or a convertible, and sport a handful of visual and performance tweaks. The N430 is available in two exclusive colours; the first is a red-on-blue scheme, but the one you want is the green-on-yellow variant, meant to be a nod to the exclusive CC100 Speedster concept. In addition to the unique paintwork, the Vantage N430 sports a set of exclusive, 10-spoke forged alloy wheels, carbon-fibre trimmings inside and out, Kevlar seats and an optional Bang and Olufsen sound system.
As for performance, the Vantage N430 is powered by a 4.7-litre V8 engine, but peak output has been bumped up to 436 horsepower, as opposed to the 430 horses in the Vantage S. Most importantly, Aston offers two transmissions with the N430. An honest-to-goodness six-speed manual is standard fare, but if three pedals aren’t your thing, a six-speed “close ratio” automated manual is optional. All told, Vantage N430 can scoot from a standstill to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds.
The Vantage N430 will be shown alongside two ‘Carbon Black’ and ‘Carbon White’ DB9s, complete with 20-inch wheels and various carbon fibre bodywork, when the Geneva Motor Show kicks off in less than two weeks.
