Following this weekend’s leak, Ford has officially taken the wraps off the 2015 Focus at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
The Focus wears Ford’s new corporate, Aston Martin-inspired front grille, as well as a few visual tweaks in the way of new headlights, tail lights and wheels. In addition, a few interior trim bits have been refreshed, including a standard 4.2-inch display on the dash, but the biggest news lies under the hood.

The 2015 Ford Focus gains the turbocharged three-cylinder EcoBoost engine from the Fiesta, but the Focus’ power numbers haven’t been detailed.
Handout, Ford
For 2015, the Focus gains the Fiesta’s turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine. Although Ford hasn’t announced the Focus’ output numbers, the three-cylinder produces 123 horsepower and 125 lb.-ft. of torque in the Fiesta. Given the weight difference between the two cars, it’s likely that the Focus would see a bump in power. Aside from the fact that the three-cylinder engine will be paired to a six-speed manual transmission, no other technical details have been confirmed.
The Focus also gains a standard back-up camera across the board, as well as an option blind-spot monitor and Ford’s lane-keeping system. Following the Mobile World Congress, the 2015 Ford Focus will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show next week.
